Halloween/Girls Trip to Texas

Well I had a blast in Texas, I meet Jeni, Lynne, Libby and Robyn in Dallas. We did lots of shopping and lots of good eating. We went to Canton and shopped from about 10 am to 6pm, needless to say our feet were killing by the end of the night. The next day we woke up and got pedi. and manicures. They were much needed since we left the spa and went shopping more till about 8:30 at night when we sat down for dinner. We had a great time, a big thanks to lynne for taking us there. The outfit the girls have on is from this store in Dallas called the pumpkin patch. They had the cutiest cloths, the girls both loved the cloths and the boots. I also put in a few halloween pictures as well. The picture of lizzy with her mouth open, I guess that is her new smile. Every time i would say smile that is what she would do, not so cute. Hopefully she will grow out of that one soon.

Briley's Pumpkin Patch

Last week Caty-lynne's class went to the pumpkin patch and Lizzy and I went along. The kids had so much fun. They got to feed the goats, which Lizzy thought was great but when they would jump on her for the food she would yell no samson(our dogs name) sit. I think the white with spots must have confused her. It was pretty cute. They went on a hay ride, learned how to make butter, milked a pretend cow, got to pick out a very small pumpkin and had a treat and then went home. It was a fun day. I also threw in a picture I took of Lizzy before church on sunday and one of Caty-lynne from a few days ago. I have no pictures of Bri, the last picture I have of him is his first day of school. That kid does not like to have his picture taken. He just can't sit still long enough for me. Anyway things are great here, Brian has the next week off so that will be nice. We don't have any plans just hanging out. He has to take his boards on Thrusday and Friday, so I'm sure he will be doing a lot of reading the next few days. Enjoy

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIZZY

Well Lizzy turned 2 last week and I can't believe how fast time goes. It just seems like yesterday we were having her 1st birthday party. She had a blast opening up her presents. Last year it was all about the cake but this year it was about the presents. She loved picking out the cake and showing it to everyone but only ate about 2 bites and then was done. She is such a sweetie. We are so lucky to have her in our family. Since she is the youngest and Brian and I have soften so much since Bri was her age that she gets what ever she wants, no kidding. The more you have the more you realize the little things are not so important in the long run. So to all you parents choose your battles!!! We love you Lizzy.

Thank You Nana and Granddad!!

So yesterday when we got home this is what we found had been delievered to our home. Nana and Granddad sent it to us and we loved it and they are very yummy. The kids love them. I think Caty-lynne likes them the most, she woke up this morning asking for one and then again when she got home from school. Just what I need around the house, something I feel I need to take a bite of everytime I walk through the kitchen. Thanks again we love you guys.

Well this is Caty-lynne on her first day of school. She was so excited to go. She had me do her hair, put on lip gloss and wanted pink eye shadow on. She loves school and enjoys going. She goes five days a week from 9-12.
I also threw in this picture of lizzy b/c I love this outfit. Lynne got it for her and she looked so cute so I thought I would share.
Well we decide to redo our master bathroom and Brian started taking out the tiles. Once that was done we thought well it would look better with a new vanity and toilet. So he pretty much gutted the whole bathroom. My grandfather came and help with the plumbing with the vanity and Brian has finished tiling the floor. He has to do the shower and he will be done. It already looks so much better. Once he is finished I will post pictures. I did not take any before pictures but lets just say the house was built in the 90's and it was very out dated. White octagon shaped tile. Need I say more!

Bri's first day of School

Well yesterday was Bri's first day of 1st grade. He said he had a great day and thank goodness he was not up at 5:30am like he was on his first day of school last year. Caty-lynne starts tomorrow and is excited but she said she is a little scared about learning how to read this year. I'm sure she will do great! I also put in a picture of the girls. Enjoy

Canada

Well we are back from Canada and we had a blast. We got back last week and my computer is now letting me download pictures yah. We all had so much fun in Canada, we went to Calloway Park, boating, Heritage Park, and other fun things. The kids did not want to come home. Bri fell in love with their grass, in fact he wanted to know if we could have grass that nice one day. Our grass here in greenville sucks. This summer we have had hardly any rain so it looks like a green brown mix. Anyway Bri started school today and Caty-lynne starts on Wed. I don't know who was more excited today me or Bri or Caty-lynne. I will post some pictures of today later. Enjoy

Well I haven't blogged in a while so I thought I would give a little update. Brian is no longer working in Raleigh, so it is nice to have him home. He has an elective this month so he is doing ultra sound and working a few shifts in the ER. This is great b/c that means a very light month for him. It is nice to have him around more, but that will change next month when he goes back to his normal work load. He is very excited that he is no longer an intern but now a 2yr resident. That is a big thing at the hospital, you gain a little respect from others.
We are leaving on Sat. to go to Canada and we are very excited about that. Bri is staying this week at my parents house and he is having a great time. In fact when we took him down this weekend he keep asking when we were leaving. He then went to tell me how when I left he could stay up late. When we pulled out of the drive way he waved good bye with a smile on his face. It is so nice to feel loved by your children.
Anyway something is wrong with our computer so we can not download pictures to it so no pics this time.

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th! These are some pictures I took of the kids this morning sporting their American Pride cloths. There is one of lizzy with the head band in that was taken yesterday but I thought it was so cute I would throw it in.

MYRTLE BEACH

Well we had a blast a the beach this past week. The kids had so much fun at the beach and playing with their cousins. We all got to do something we love to do, the boys went golfing 3 times, the kids played at the beach, pool and mini golfing, and the girls went shopping one day and got a pedicure one day with Caty-lynne. It was her first and she loved it. It was so much fun watching her facial expressions when they would scrub her feet or do something new she had never had done before. We had a great week, Big Thanks to Nana and Granddad for taking us. Here are a few pictures from the week.
